Denmark's Catholic cathedral, where the Ukrainian Greek Catholic community serves every Sunday.

St Ansgar's church at Bredgade 64 was consecrated on 1 November 1842 to a design by Gustav Friedrich Hetsch; since 1941 it has been the cathedral of the Catholic diocese of Copenhagen, which covers all of Denmark together with the Faroe Islands and Greenland. The Greek Catholic community of the Holy Family is based here. Pastoral care for Ukrainians of the Byzantine rite in Denmark began in the spring of 1946, when Father Mykhailo Syvensky came to Copenhagen and looked after the community until his death in 1953; regular visits by priests resumed in 2005, and in 2007 the first permanent priest arrived. Today the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church has nine parishes in Denmark.

Bredgade 64, 1260 København K. Liturgy in Ukrainian every Sunday and on feast days at 13:00, confession from 12:00. This is a working Catholic cathedral — the schedule is agreed with the Latin parish.
