Antonov Aviation Museum, Kyiv
Over 90 machines in the open air on the edge of Zhuliany — the country's largest aviation collection.
The museum was founded in 2001 at the National Aviation University and opened in 2003, for the centenary of world aviation. Today it holds more than ninety aircraft, helicopters and drones in the open air, plus a separate hall with two dozen aero engines. It bears the name of Oleh Antonov: the designer whose bureau was moved to Kyiv in 1952 and whose machines — from the An-2 to the An-124 Ruslan — made the city a capital of transport aviation. The collection also has a MiG-29 — the same type of aircraft in which Vadym Voroshylov "Karaya" shot down five Shaheds over Vinnytsia region on 12 October 2022.
The open-air collection at 1 Medova Street near Zhuliany is not currently shown in its usual format: in 2026 the museum runs tours in the KAI training hangar, 1 Liubomyra Huzara Avenue, building 11 (hi.kyiv.ua, 28.07.2026). Visits by advance booking only, Tuesday–Sunday 10:00–16:00, ticket 200 UAH, concessions 100 UAH (museum's ticketing website, 01.10.2026).
