The execution of 359 soldiers of the Army of the UNR after the Second Winter Campaign, 21–22 November 1921.

On 17 November 1921 at Mali Minky, the Volhynian group of the Army of the UNR under Brigadier General Yurko Tiutiunnyk, marching on the Second Winter Campaign, was defeated; the prisoners were herded into the church in Bazar. On 20–22 November the Bolsheviks — Kotovsky's 9th Crimean Cavalry Division, by resolution of the Cheka — shot 359 prisoners who refused to join the Red Army; another 83 were sent to Kyiv and shot as well. Their grave was a deep pit dug the day before by local peasants on Chekist orders. On 17 November 1991 crosses and a plaque with the names of all 359 heroes were consecrated; on 26 August 2000 a memorial by architect Oleksandr Borys opened, funded by the Ukrainian diaspora of Great Britain; in 2002, 46 soldiers were reburied from the mass grave near Zvizdal.

Open ground, access around the clock; no institution on site. The coordinate is the centre of the village of Bazar, the memorial itself is on its outskirts. Commemorated every year on 21 November or the nearest weekend, and on 21.11.2025 Bazar hosted the historical debate "The November Raid. The Second Winter Campaign" (Zhytomyrshchyna Istorychna, 12.2025).
