Belz
One of Ukraine's oldest towns — chronicled Belz of 1030 with the Arian Tower.
Belz is first mentioned in the chronicle under 1030; in the Middle Ages it was the capital of an appanage principality, then a voivodeship. From here in 1382 the miraculous icon of the Mother of God was taken away, known today as Our Lady of Czestochowa. The town keeps Dominican monastery complexes of the 16th–18th centuries and the hexagonal Arian Tower of 1606.
