An octagonal 23-metre tower at the tip of the Berdiansk Spit, put into service in 1840.

The lighthouse stands at the tip of the Berdiansk Spit. The building contract was won in 1838 by Karlo Tomazini, a Kerch merchant of the first guild, and the lighthouse was put into service in 1840 (MYH newspaper); Discover.ua gives 1837 as the year the building was finished. It is an octagonal tower 23 metres high with a red band (Discover.ua). At first it shone with kerosene lamps; electric lighting was installed in 1883, a steam foghorn for signals in fog in 1889, and a telephone line in 1911 (MYH newspaper). The paper calls it the oldest structure in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Berdiansk has been occupied since 27 February 2022 (Ukrainska Pravda); in August 2026 Berdiansk 24, citing its own sources, reported that the occupation authorities had switched the lighthouse off for lack of fuel for the generators.

Berdiansk has been occupied since 2022 — no access.
