The fortress-monastery of the Discalced Carmelites, 1634–1642, with a miraculous icon.

In 1630 voivode Janusz Tyszkiewicz gave his castle to the Discalced Carmelites, and in 1634–1642 a fortress-monastery with walls and towers rose here. The baroque church is two-tiered: the upper Holy Trinity church and the lower of the Immaculate Conception; in the 18th century the complex was rebuilt to Jan de Witte's design. The main shrine is the icon of Our Lady of Berdychiv, whose copy John Paul II crowned in 1997.

A working monastery; the wing houses the city history museum.
