The Renaissance residence of the Sieniawskis, 1534–1554, in a bend of the Zolota Lypa.

The Sieniawski castle was built in 1534–1554 and extended into the early 17th century: a pentagon of walls encloses a parade court with tiers of arcade galleries — for which Berezhany was called the "Galician Wawel". After the wars of the 20th century the castle is under conservation, with restoration proceeding step by step. The castle is in the care of the State Historical and Architectural Reserve in Berezhany: in 2024 the museum space of two halls on the ground floor of the west wing was renewed.

The reserve is open 9:00–19:00 daily, tours Monday to Friday 10:00–17:00, at weekends by arrangement. Part of the walls is unsafe: view from the permitted areas, do not go under the walls.
