The palace where Shevchenko painted the portrait of Hanna Zakrevska, and a pyramid tomb eight hundred metres away.

The two-storey palace was built in 1838 to the design of Yevhen Chervinsky on the site of a burnt-down wooden house of the 18th century; beside it are two wings and a park of forty-five hectares. Eight hundred metres away stands the Zakrevsky family tomb of 1899 in the form of an Egyptian pyramid, nine metres high. Since Soviet times the palace has held an agricultural college and the wing a people's local history museum; the buildings are unheated in winter and are falling apart.

1 Parkova Street: the palace is a building of the agricultural college, and the wing houses a people's museum of history and local lore (college website, 19.05.2026). No schedule has been published — arrange your visit in advance through the college: 067 641 45 66 (EDEBO register, as of 02.10.2026).
