Boiko Towers, Black Sea
Gas platforms retaken by GUR special forces in the open sea.
Russia seized the drilling platforms Petro Hodovanets, Ukraina, Tavrida and Syvash back in 2015 and turned them into radar posts and helicopter pads. On 11 September 2023 GUR special forces on speedboats returned the "Boiko towers" to Ukrainian control — a russian Su-30 was damaged in the fight. The point marks the platform Petro Hodovanets in Karkinit Bay.
