Chernivtsi Town Hall
A mid-19th-century town hall with a fifty-metre tower over Central Square.
It took four years to build in the mid-19th century to Andreas Mikolić's design — late classicism and a tower fifty metres tall. At noon the tower plays "Marichka" — a small city ritual worth timing your visit for. Central Square below is the natural start of a walk through Austrian Chernivtsi.
