Olha Kobylianska Theatre, Chernivtsi
A theatre of 1904–1905 by the Viennese firm of Fellner and Helmer.
Built in 1904–1905 by the Viennese firm of Fellner and Helmer, with over forty European theatres to its name. The Chernivtsi stage came out neo-Renaissance and still serves its purpose — today it is the Olha Kobylianska Theatre. From Theatre Square in front of the theatre, in September 1970, Volodymyr Ivasiuk's “Chervona Ruta” was heard for the first time, in a live broadcast.
The best way to see the hall is a ticket to a show.
