Ruins of the Tereshchenko Palace, Denyshi
The ruins of the palace of Nadiia Tereshchenko, widow of the sugar manufacturer, built in 1910–1913 above the Teteriv.
The palace in Denyshi was built in 1910–1913 to a design by the architect Pavlo Hollandsky, commissioned by Nadiia Tereshchenko, widow of the sugar manufacturer Fedir Tereshchenko. The two-tier building in the Italian Renaissance style had 40 rooms and a three-tier tower, and the park beside it was designed by Arnold Regel. After 1917 the estate was looted, and later local residents took it apart for bricks. Today there survive the tower with its spiral staircase, part of the west wall and the remains of the foundation; the interior walls are completely destroyed. On 19 August 2023 a stand was installed by the ruins from which a QR code opens a 3D reconstruction of the palace.
