Divych Hill, Trypillia
The highest point of the Obukhiv area: 186 m above sea level, 55 above the Dnipro.
A hill above Trypillia crowned in its day by a Slavic sanctuary. The point's value today is the pairing of view and context: a kilometre away works the Kyiv Oblast Archaeological Museum, which explains what exactly lies underfoot. Without it the hill stays merely a fine view. In 1854 Divych Hill above Trypillia was drawn by Dominique De la Flise — a French physician who travelled the state villages of the Kyiv region and left albums of descriptions and drawings; his watercolour is in the card's Mention.
The climb is on foot. The archaeological museum is nearby in Trypillia. Trypillia is part of the Ukrainka community, and on 30.09.2026 russia attacked the Trypillia thermal power plant in Ukrainka (FAKTY, 30.09.2026).
