A wooden UNESCO-listed church with unique wall paintings.

The people of Drohobych brought the wooden St George's Church from the village of Nadiiv in Prykarpattia and set it up on the site of a church that had burned down in 1648: according to castles.com.ua in 1657, according to karpaty.info in 1656. The log structure itself is dated differently: castles.com.ua to the late 15th – early 16th century, the Drohobych District Military Administration (2023) to the 16th century. In 1657–1714, under the painter Stefan Medytskyi, the church was painted from floor to vault. Above the lower church of St George is an upper one, of the Presentation of Mary in the Temple, with its own entrance, iconostasis and wall paintings. In 1974–1975 the complex was restored by I. Mohytych and B. Kindzelskyi, and a museum was set up here; in 2013 the church was inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. On 23 April 2025 the head of the UGCC consecrated the renewed church and its 17th-century iconostasis, restored at the National Research Restoration Centre of Ukraine.

A branch of the Drohobychchyna museum: daily 10:00–17:00, adult ticket 150 UAH, climbing to the second tier +50 UAH (2026). Liturgies are held here only twice a year.
