The Polish magistrate house: a Gothic core under five centuries of layers.

The town hall on the Polish Market was built from the 15th century, after the city received Magdeburg rights, and researchers see walls of the 14th in its core. The two-storey house and the eight-tier bell tower were merged into one volume after the fire of 1616; Renaissance, baroque and empire settled over the Gothic base. The cellars hold an exhibition on the medieval Kamianets court.

The tower stands equidistant from the three old city gates — six hundred metres each.
