Lopukhin Palace, Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi
A neo-Gothic palace on an island in the Ros: ten of the ensemble's thirteen buildings survive.
The ensemble was founded in 1782 by Prince Stanisław Poniatowski to the design of Jean-Henri Münz and Jan Lindsey; the stone palace was built in 1787–1789 and took its present form under Prince Pavel Lopukhin in the 1835–1840s. Today this is a reserve: a picture gallery in the palace, a history museum and a museum of the Battle of Korsun-Shevchenkivskyi. That Shevchenko was here in 1859 is stated by castles.com.ua; the reserve's own site does not mention it, so the visit rests on a single source.
Daily 8:30–16:30, lunch break in the palace 12:00–13:00 (2026). The palace is on an island: 4 Ostriv Kotsiubynskoho Street.
