The house in Zamostia where the writer was born and spent his first thirty-three years.

The estate in Zamostia, then the outskirts of Vinnytsia, was built at the beginning of the 19th century by the writer's grandfather Maksym Abaza. Mykhailo Kotsiubynsky was born here in 1864 and lived here until he was thirty-three. The house was restored in 1926 and the museum opened in 1927 — one of the country's oldest literary museums. Its five rooms are arranged monographically: lifetime editions, translations, paintings, public work.

15 Ivana Bevza Street. The memorial exhibition is being redisplayed, work has been going on since 2020, and the museum has not yet fully reopened (news.vn.ua, 17.07.2026), but events are held in the exhibition halls (misto.vn.ua, 17.09.2026). Sources disagree on the hours, so phone before your visit: +380 432 64-71-02 (news.vinnica.ua, 28.11.2024).
