The Rozumovsky cathedral of 1752–1763 with a 27-metre iconostasis.

The cathedral took eleven years to build, in 1752–1763, commissioned by Countess Nataliia Rozumovska, mother of Oleksii Rozumovsky; Andrii Kvasov and Ivan Hryhorovych-Barsky led the work, and Rastrelli's involvement remains disputed. The church is famous for its five-tier iconostasis 27 metres high — one of the largest in Ukraine: 50 of its 80 icons survive. On 12 September 1762 the founder was buried in the crypt. Under Soviet rule the cathedral was closed and during the Second World War it was a camp for prisoners of war; restoration lasted from 1961 to 1982, and it was reconsecrated on 14 August 1993.

2 Rodyny Bohomoltsiv Street (formerly Danevycha). In summer open daily 9:00–13:00, Saturday 8:00–18:00, Sunday 7:00–15:00; in winter services only in the lower church.
