openas of 2026-10-03Naddniprianshchyna

A museum of the giant settlements and a Trypillian house at full size.

The State Historical and Cultural Reserve “Trypillia Culture” was created by Cabinet of Ministers decree No. 284 in 2002. It protects the giant settlements of the Cherkasy region, above all the neighbouring Talianky and Maidanetske. Lehedzyne has a museum of pottery, tools and small figurines from the digs, and in the open air stands a reconstructed two-storey Trypillian house. This is the nearest place where the excavated field can be seen explained.

5 Prykordonnykiv Street; no schedule has been published — arrange your visit in advance by tel. 095 483 37 90 (Ministry of Culture museum register, checked 03.10.2026). The reserve is open: on 12.09.2026 the “Trypillian Toloka” festival was held here (Nova Doba, 11.09.2026). On 01.09.2026 a russian drone blew out the windows of a kindergarten and of residential buildings in the Talne community (Nova Doba, 01.09.2026), so do not ignore alerts.
