Luhansk
A regional capital founded as Charles Gascoigne's foundry in 1795.
The city grew around the Luhansk foundry founded in 1795 — the first large metallurgical works of the Donbas. Volodymyr Dal worked here, and his house-museum was the pride of the old centre. The Ukrainian drama theatre, the regional museum and the late-19th-century streets have stood on the other side of the line since 2014.
Temporarily occupied since 2014. Travel is impossible — this card keeps the memory.
