A monument to the hetman in exile in the town where he lived with his family in 1716–1719.

Pylyp Orlyk, elected hetman in exile, lived in Kristianstad from 1716 to 1719; the town gave him and his wife Anna an empty inn on Lilla Torg square. In 2011 a monument of bronze and granite about 135 cm high was erected on Östra Storgatan, near the family's former home. Its authors are the Kyiv sculptors Borys Krylov and Oles Sydoruk; the municipality's public art list also names Olena Sydoruk and Ivan Omelniuk; the installation was initiated by the Embassy of Ukraine in Sweden and timed to the 300th anniversary of Orlyk's Constitution. In October 2022 Kristianstad's culture and leisure committee officially named the place "Filip Orlik-platsen" — Pylyp Orlyk Square.

Östra Storgatan in central Kristianstad, next to Lilla Torg square; in the open air, free access.
