Holy Spirit Church, Rohatyn
A wooden church of the 16th–17th centuries, UNESCO-listed, with a 1650 iconostasis.
The Holy Spirit church in Rohatyn is one of the eight Ukrainian churches in the joint UNESCO nomination "Wooden Tserkvas of the Carpathian Region". The chief treasure inside is the five-tier Renaissance iconostasis of 1650, a masterpiece of Galician painting. Researchers date the church itself from the mid-16th century.
