A 15th-century gate with a parapet of 1724 by Adam Sieniawski.

The southern, or Kamianets, gate of Sataniv was founded on the site of an old entrance: according to “Espreso. Zakhid” and Culture.pl, in the 15th century; according to Horodok.City, at the turn of the 15th–16th centuries. In the 16th century it was rebuilt and became part of the system of town walls. At the end of the 17th century, when janissaries stormed the town, the gate was damaged. In 1724 it was restored and topped with a crenellated parapet on corbels (decorative according to “Espreso. Zakhid”, defensive according to Horodok.City); the Latin inscription says that Adam Mikolaj Sieniawski “restored this stronghold in the year 1722” and ends with the date 1724. Later the gate housed border guards and customs officers, later still the command post of Soviet border guards, a warehouse and an arsenal. The gate is a monument of national significance but, according to Culture.pl (2023), is in an unsafe condition and has no owner. A little higher up is the Jewish cemetery, the oldest headstone found in which is dated 1576.

The gate is in an unsafe condition (2023).
