St Florian's church of 1595 with ornamental painting.

St Florian's Church was built in 1595 at the expense of Jan Zamoyski, chancellor and Grand Crown Hetman; according to local tradition, the town is named after Florian Szary, an ancestor of the Zamoyskis. According to CREDO, the church opened on 3 November 1595; according to the Franciscans' website, it was consecrated in 1636 by the Bishop of Kamianets, Pawel Wolucki. During the Khmelnytsky Uprising in 1648 the church was seriously damaged; it was rebuilt in 1717 with minor alterations, and once more in 1899. It is a three-nave basilica of rubble limestone; the barrel vault is covered with ornamental painting in the “grotesque” manner, probably from the time of construction and possibly renewed in 1717. The main altar holds a crucifix by Italian masters, and the walls bear 14 high reliefs of the Stations of the Cross. In 1937, during the repressions, 300 parishioners were shot together with the priest Maksymilian Turovsky. Since 1993 a Franciscan house has operated at the church; in 2026 the arched gateway in front of the church was restored.

A working Franciscan church at 216 Heroiv Maidanu Street; the Mass schedule is on the parish website.
