The estate where Skovoroda died in 1794. A museum wounded by a missile.

On this estate Hryhorii Skovoroda spent his last days and died in 1794; from 1972 the philosopher's literary-memorial museum worked here. In 2022 a direct russian missile hit destroyed the building — a strike at the place that taught "the world tried to catch me, but never could". The collection was saved; the museum is being rebuilt. At the end of 2025 a protective shelter was put over the monument and conservation was carried out; the restoration project is estimated at 40 million hryvnias.

The museum is closed because of the war: the building is under a protective shelter, the most valuable exhibits have been moved to safety. A restoration project has already been prepared.
