Marko Cheremshyna Museum, Sniatyn
The writer's villa, run as a museum since 1949 by his wife and successors.
Marko Cheremshyna moved to Sniatyn in 1912, first renting half of Solomon Markusson's villa, then buying the whole house, where he lived until his death in 1927. The museum opened on 17 July 1949 in the writer's own house; its founder and first director until March 1974 was his wife Nataliia Semaniuk. The exhibition holds about 400 items: photographs, documents, personal belongings, the library, the study and the salon with Nataliia Semaniuk's piano; among the exhibits are a model of the motor ship Marko Cheremshyna of 1958 and the Wedding Wreath project with authentic wreaths of Pokuttia, Hutsulshchyna and Bukovyna.
