The Potocki palace of 1782 — the seat of Podillia's mightiest family.

The Potockis already lived in Tulchyn in the Old Palace, built in 1757. Stanislaw Szczesny Potocki made the town his capital — according to Portal in 1775, while according to Telegraf he moved his residence here from Kryshtopil in 1774. In 1782 work began on a new classicist palace designed by the French architect Joseph Lacroix; according to the Vinnytsia Regional State Administration it was completed in 1785, and in 1787 an opera theatre with a company of up to 200 actors opened here. After Potocki's death in 1805 the estate declined; in 1875 it was handed over to the military authorities, and since 1982 the palace has housed a college of culture. From 2017 the open-air opera festival OperaFest Tulchyn was held on the palace grounds; the 4th festival took place in 2021. The restoration, for which the region received funding in 2021, was not completed because of russia's full-scale invasion: the main building has been partly renovated, the former theatre is in a deplorable state (2025).

10 Nezalezhnosti Street. This is not a museum: the palace houses a professional college of culture and there are no visiting hours; the grounds in front of the palace can be viewed, and the former theatre is in a deplorable state (2025).
