The Mykola Leontovych Apartment Museum in Tulchyn opened in December 1977, for the centenary of the composer's birth. Leontovych lived and worked in Tulchyn, where, among other things, he founded a music school. The museum is also called the “Shchedryk” museum — after the piece whose melody became known all over the world as a Christmas tune. In 2019 the exhibition was renewed: the three halls, one of which is devoted to “Shchedryk”, received modern display stands with QR codes and interactive touch panels. On display are room interiors, photographs, the composer's personal belongings and musical instruments.
