Street of the Heroes of Ukraine, Vilnius
The street that leads to russia's embassy; it was given the name on 9 March 2022.
On 9 March 2022 the Vilnius city government announced that the unnamed stretch of street leading to russia's embassy had been named the Street of the Heroes of Ukraine. Bilingual signs went up the same day. The embassy of russia received the address Ukrainos Didvyrių g. 2, and, in the words of the then mayor Remigijus Šimašius, every business card of a russian diplomat would now be a reminder of the regime's cruelty towards Ukrainians. The street was entered in the state address register on 14 March 2022; it is 240 metres long.
