The crossroads by russia's embassy, named Ukraine Square on 8 March 2022.

On 8 March 2022 the Frogner district council in Oslo resolved to name "Ukrainas plass" the crossroads of Drammensveien and Leiv Eirikssons gate — the one closest to russia's embassy. It was a symbolic answer to the full-scale invasion. The council rejected a broader proposal to rename the whole stretch of Drammensveien "Ukrainas gate", so the postal addresses of the residents and of the embassy itself did not change: the crossroads received an informal name with an information sign.
