Viacheslav Lypynsky Museum, Zaturtsi
The Lypynsky family estate, where the historian Viacheslav Lypynsky was born in 1882; today it houses his museum.
Construction of the Lypynsky manor house in Zaturtsi began in 1871, and a park was laid out around it. In 1882 the historian and public figure Viacheslav Lypynsky was born here. The estate was destroyed during the First World War, and Stanislav Lypynsky built a two-storey palace on the old foundations. In 1931 Viacheslav Lypynsky's body was brought from Austria and buried on the grounds of the family estate. The memorial museum in the restored house opened in 2011; it is a department of the Volyn Museum of Local History.
