The house where Larysa Kosach was born on 25 February 1871 — a historic monument of national significance.

Lesia Ukrainka was born in this house and spent her first years here. In August 1963, for the 50th anniversary of the poet's death, a museum-library opened here; the literary memorial museum was created by order of the Ministry of Culture on 11 September 1970 and ceremonially opened on 26 February 1971, for the centenary of her birth, when a bronze bust was also unveiled. The exhibition in five rooms holds documents, paintings, furniture and personal belongings of the Kosach family; the dearest spot is the children's room with Lesia's things. The second building was given to the museum in 1985 and its residents rehoused in 1988.

76/2 Sobornosti Street. Mon–Sat 9:00–18:00, closed Sunday; ask about tickets and tours by phone. Zviahel is under drone attack: on 12 September 2026 a strike on a shop in the town centre took two lives — mind the alerts.
